Peach State

Dear Peds Care Families,

PLEASE DO NOT BE ALARMED AND PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE YOUR CHILD’S PCP AT THIS TIME.

We are aware that some of our Peach State Health Plan families are receiving a letter stating that their Peds Care provider, including Dr. Ricardo Riesco, will no longer be participating with Peach State beginning January 16, 2027.

We want to clarify that Peds Care is STILL currently in network with Peach State, and your child can continue to receive care at our office as usual.

The January 16, 2027 date listed in the Peach State letter is still several months away, and Peds Care is actively working directly with Peach State to resolve this matter before that date.

At this time, you do NOT need to:

· Change your child’s PCP

· Select a new pediatrician

· Transfer your child’s medical records

· Cancel or change any upcoming appointments with Peds Care

Please continue using Peds Care as your child’s pediatric provider as you normally would.

We understand that the letter from Peach State may sound alarming, especially because it provides instructions for selecting a new provider. Please do not take any action based on that letter at this time.

We are working diligently with Peach State and are hopeful that this matter will be resolved well before January 16, 2027. We will keep our families informed and will contact you directly if there is ever anything you need to do.
