Nurse practitioner preceptorship

NP Students

We strive to provide a rich clinical experience with a wide range of patient populations and visit types. We teach evidence-based practice and treat according to AAP guidelines. Our dedicated Providers generously offer their time and expertise to upcoming healthcare professionals through clinical preceptorship opportunities.

Due to the fast pace and immersive environment of our practice, we ask that students have at least two years of clinical experience and demonstrate competent assessment skills. Students are also expected to bring their own stethoscope and laptop or tablet.

A case-by-case decision may be made if a student feels strongly about completing clinical hours with Peds Care, P.C. and wishes to apply for a preceptorship. We will never request compensation, monetary or otherwise. We believe the integrity of Pediatrics is best upheld by willing Preceptors who provide a mutually beneficial learning environment and real-world application to didactic coursework.
